Known facts:

In Germany you'll find about 100 Bieberbach families in the telephone book at the moment. Many of them originate or are still living in the area around Marisfeld/Langenbach. All of the Bieberbachs I've heard from came originally from Marisfeld or Steinbach/Langenbach. The research of Christiane Hawkshaw-Bieberbach goes back to 1620 where she found a Hermann Bieberbach, born at Biberschlag. Some of my cousins are still living there (see Photo page).

Because of joint research we could find out common roots of a great part of the American and German Bieberbachs (see family tree).
